Jordbodalen nursing home is the city's largest nursing home and is located just south of the city center. Here, we have direct access to nature, beautiful walking paths, Elineberg's center, and also good commuting options via both bus and train. Job responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work daily to ensure that each individual can live as independently as possible, and you have the overall responsibility for ensuring that care, nursing, and medical interventions are carried out in a patient-safe manner.

In your work, you collaborate in teams, both internally and externally, to meet the individual’s care needs. This may involve contacting other healthcare providers as well as relatives and family members. At team meetings, you are expected to take an active role in driving development and quality improvement work.

The job will also involve mentoring and training nursing staff in everything from job-specific interventions, approaches within your area of responsibility, and delegation procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of current legislation, such as HSL and SoL. You need to have good computer skills and documentation habits. A B driver's license is a requirement. 

It is an advantage if you have experience working with BPSD, Senior Alert, Palliative Register, or LifeCare. It is also advantageous if you have in-depth knowledge regarding incontinence, diabetes care, palliative care, dementia care, or further education in elderly care.
